Broward MPO 40th Anniversary Event
The Broward MPO turned 40 this year, and we thank you for being a a part of the celebration. On November 9, 2017, the MPO hosted the "State of Our Transportation System" event, which featured presentations on the transportation issues facing Broward and Southeast Florida, as well as a discussion on what the future of transportation in our region will look like. The event took place in the new Broward MPO Board Room (100 West Cypress Creek Road, Suite 650, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309), and included Broward MPO Board Members, partner agencies, transportation advocates, and other stakeholders.

Talking Transportation with County Line TV
Broward MPO Executive Director Greg Stuart recently appeared on BECON TV's County Line program to discuss transportation in Broward County and the Southeast Florida region. He was joined on the program by Representative Ted Deutch and Broward County Transit Director Chris Walton.
MPO and City of Hollywood Break Ground on Complete Streets
On June 27, 2017, the Broward MPO in partnership with the City of Hollywood, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and Broward Regional Health Planning Council (BRHPC) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Hollywood Boulevard Complete Streets Project.
