In 2022, we celebrated the Safe Streets Summit’s 9th year of bringing together transportation professionals, government staff, elected officials, and community partners to advance local Complete Streets efforts. Below you will find videos, pictures, programs, and information about our previous Safe Streets Summit conferences.

The 7th annual Safe Streets Summit was held February 6-7, 2020 at the Harbor Beach Marriott in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The theme for the 2020 Safe Streets Summit,"Vision 20/20", focused on building and implementing a collective regional vision for better streets, better communities, and a better life for all residents.

The 2019 Safe Street Summit was held on February 25-26 at the Intercontinental Miami located at 100 Chopin Plaza, Miami, FL, 33131. It was a great opportunity to meet local planners and to see what's to come in South Florida communities! 

The 2018 Safe Streets Summit was the first Summit held outside of Broward; it took place February 1-2, 2018 in West Palm Beach. 

The 2017 Safe Streets Summit was held in the City of Sunrise, and for the first time featured a partnership with the Miami-Dade TPO and Palm Beach MPO. The event was held as a two-day, regional event.

The Safe Streets Summit 2016 took place on January 29, 2016, at the Deerfield Beach Double Tree Hotel. See links to access materials from the Summit.

The inaugural Safe Streets Summit took place on January 31, 2014, at the Marriott Hollywood Beach in the City of Hollywood. This event helped attendees explore the safety, health, and economic benefits of streets designed for all users.
