Cleary Boulevard Project Development
Design a locally supported conceptual design for the segment of Cleary Boulevard, from University Drive to Hiatus Road, that provides a safe and comfortable design for all users. (2.7 miles in length)
A Road Safety Analysis (RSA) Report was prepared for Cleary Boulevard since the corridor was identified as a high-crash location in the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The RSA summarized the existing conditions of the corridor, identified maintenance, near-term, and long-term recommendations to address safety issues, analyzed crashes from 2017-2022, summarized the field observations, provided recommended improvements, and included an implementation plan. Below are short and mid-term recommendations, renderings per segment and cost estimates for the recommendations.
