The MPO's Transportation Resiliency Framework will be used along A1A in Hollywood, FL, from South of Arizona St. to SR-858/Hallandale Beach Blvd in Hollywood, FL (FM 4534311) for a comprehensive assessment of A1A and its susceptibility to climate change and associated stressors. The primary goal is to gain insights into the corridor's vulnerabilities to risk and devise a project-specific, community-driven strategy for mitigating identified vulnerabilities.
The MPO is collaborating with the City of Fort Lauderdale, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and Broward County to ensure the successful execution of this initiative.
The Hollywood A1A planning study will kick off in late 2024.
