Commitment 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) - Adopted December 12, 2019
The Commitment 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) was adopted by the MPO Board on December 12, 2019. Please visit the Documents webpage to view the plan and supporting technical reports. Additional projects can be considered by the Broward MPO for amendment in to the MTP. Please contact MPO staff (see the "For More Information" section below) to discuss your potential project and how it may be incorporated in to the adopted MTP.
Draft Commitment 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) Now Available (October 2019)
The Draft Commitment 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan is available for review and comment. This document includes the final cost feasible list of project developed through the Needs Assessment process (see below) and all addresses all federal requirement for the MTP. Call for Projects (Update: May 2019)
The Draft Cost Feasible Plan is now available! Our Needs Assessment is complete and the MPO Board approved a draft cost feasible plan on May 9, 2019. Call for Projects Update Draft List (Update: September 2018)
The Broward MPO worked diligently with member governments to identify candidate projects for the Commitment 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). Through individual "Call for Projects" meetings with representatives from member governments, the Broward MPO identified over 800 candidate projects that will be prioritized through the MTP Needs Assessment. A list of these candidate projects can be found in the spreadsheet below.
