We are excited to announce that in support of FDOT's Annual Mobility Week, our #BrowardCompleteStreets team will be conducting a Broward-wide social media challenge in the form of a scavenger hunt! The scavenger hunt will take place between Thursday, October 30 - Sunday, November 15. Grab your safety gear and gather your friends and family, and tackle the virtual challenge together. Use one of the five mobile maps (linked below) to locate the designated landmarks and bike/pedestrian facilities within your community. Don't forget to tune in on Monday, November 16, at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom, Facebook Live, or Instagram Live to see if you won one of the awesome grand prizes from our sponsors! View the table below for more information on the sponsors and prizes.
Steps to participate are as easy as 1-2-3!
- Find 3 locations near you using one of the mobile maps that include designated landmarks & facilities.
- Use alternative modes of transportation (such as biking, walking, or skating) to locate your three (3) selected landmarks/facilities.
- Take a selfie or picture of your destination/facility used and post it to your social media platform choice. You must have 3 different posts (1 per location) to enter. Posts must tag a Speak up Broward account, tag at least one friend, tag at least one sponsor (listed in the table below), and use hashtags #LetsGoBroward and #BrowardCompleteStreets.
