On Friday, February 3:

Arrive at the Summit from the Tri-Rail Hollywood station by taking a complimentary ride from Summit Transportation partner, Circuit!

To request pick-ups and drop-offs download and use the Circuit App, and enter code "SafeStreetsSummit" to secure free rides.

Circuit is also providing shuttle service from the Tri-Rail Hollywood station during the following times and locations:

  • Circuit will be waiting for participants at the Tri-Rail Hollywood station at 7:00 a.m., 7:22 a.m., 7:50 a.m., and 8:15 a.m. to drop off participants at the Convention Center at The Diplomat Hotel.
  • Circuit will take participants back to the Tri-Rail Hollywood station from the event Valet area in front of the Convention Center Lobby (Porte Cochère) after the conference from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.


Circuit is providing shuttle service to and from The Diplomat and the Closing Reception in Downtown Hollywood station during the following times and locations:

  • Circuit will take participants to the Closing Networking Reception in Downtown Hollywood from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Circuit will take participants from the Closing Networking Reception (Areito Bar and Grill) to return to the event Valet area in front of the Convention Center Lobby (Porte Cochère) at The Diplomat between 7:10 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

Vehicle Parking:
To take advantage of discounted vehicle parking rates, simply state that you're with the Safe Streets Summit event at the Convention Center valet area by sharing your proof of event registration.

Daily Self-Parking
To enjoy a special discounted parking rate of $15+ tax per day per vehicle, please park in the Diplomat Parking garage at 3416 S Ocean Drive, Hollywood, FL 33019. The parking garage features 8 stories of parking beside the Diplomat Landing Dock (across from the main hotel building on the intercostal), and two electric vehicle charging ports on the 2nd floor of the Parking Garage's entry side. For a safe transition between the parking garage and the main hotel, please utilize the skywalk, accessible on the 2nd floor of the parking garage.

Bike Parking:
• A bike rack will be in front of the Convention Center Lobby Doors, on the median of the event Valet area in the Porte Cochère.
• Participants should bring their locks.
• Valet staff will be ready to answer any questions as needed.

Winner: Commissioner Kionne L. McGhee, Chair, Miami-Dade TPO Non-Urban Core Task Forces

Read More: Kionne L McGhee is the Chair of the Miami - Dade Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) Non-Urban Core Task Forces addressing bicycle and pedestrian mobility challenges in Miami - Dade County. TPO Task Forces have implemented the “SMART Street Transportation Enhancement Program (STEP)” advancing projects countywide. Through this leadership, he has approved three projects for advancement via this program representing the need of the community in the South Miami - Dade area increasing connectivity and enhance s afety for all. The SW 344 Street intersection enhancement project is anticipated to be completed in January 2023.

Complete Streets Community Award

Winner: City of Miami Gardens

Read More: As part of the Miami - Dade TPO’s SMART STEP, the project focused on collaborating with the City of Miami Gardens to enhance safety and mobility at this intersection connecting the community to the recreational areas of Bunche Park and Pool. The enhancements included upgrades to pedestrian crossings and the implementation of new green-colored bicycle lanes. This project was completed under the leadership of Tom Ruiz, City of Miami Gardens Public Works Director, along with the support of Miami - Dade TPO Board Member Rodney Harris.
