NBC 6’s Niko Clemmons Takes the Stage at State of the Region

When Broward's transportation, business and community leaders come together for the 2026 State of the Region & Annual Awards, a familiar South Florida voice will help guide the celebration.

Niko Clemmons of NBC 6 South Florida will serve as emcee for this year's signature event on October 22 at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.

As an NBC 6 reporter, Clemmons covers breaking news and community stories throughout South Florida, including stories across Broward County. His work puts him on the front lines of the issues, events and people shaping the region every day.

As emcee, Clemmons will help lead an afternoon focused on "Turning Opportunity Into Impact" as the Broward MPO brings together regional leaders to celebrate progress, recognize this year's award honorees and look ahead at the opportunities shaping Broward's transportation future.

Join Niko Clemmons and the Broward MPO on October 22 for one of the region's signature transportation and leadership events.
