The City of Fort Lauderdale, with the help of Broward MPO, is preparing a transportation master plan that will serve as a guide for transportation investments for years to come. The plan will look comprehensively at all modes of travel, including pedestrian and bike facilities, transit, automobile access and new mobility technologies. It will assess current transportation infrastructure and make recommendations for creating a safe, equitable and multimodal mobility network in the future.
The Transportation Master Plan will help elected officials make policy and investment decisions about how our transportation network can grow to meet the needs of an evolving city. It will also serve as an educational opportunity for residents and business owners, since the development of the plan will include numerous workshops and public input opportunities.
