Project Concept Development:

The Broward MPO is developing a Project Concept for NW 27 Ave. from Sunrise Blvd to NW 16th St. in unincorporated Broward County (adjacent to Fort Lauderdale).

  • From Sunrise Boulevard to N.W. 16th Street.
  • Borders Fort Lauderdale
  • Dillard High School sits on the corridor

Goal:

The Goal of the NW 27 Ave. project is to enhance safety and improve connectivity throughout the corridor by designing a locally supported conceptual design.

  • Assess the corridor for safety improvements for all users throughout the corridor
  • Develop a locally preferred alternative to move forward into design and construction

  • Draft Concepts - Winter 2026-2027
