The Broward MPO has won a 2016 Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) Grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to fund five Complete Streets projects in Broward.
Broward MPO Vice-Chair Bryan Caletka (Davie) and Executive Director Gregory Stuart have been elected to leadership positions with the National Association of Regional Councils (NARC).
Two MPO tradeshow booths will be touring this summer at various Broward Community Centers and Libraries. One booth features a display on bike safety and the other includes graphics about the Broward MPO and what the organization does.
The Broward MPO was proud to host educators from across the Southeast for Transportation and Civil Engineering (TRAC) training on June 28th and 29th. Nearly 20 teachers attended the training, which was held in the Broward MPO Board Room.
