The Broward MPO, City of Hollywood, and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) are working to improve sidewalks in the Hollywood Gardens West community as part of the MPO's Complete Streets Initiatives Program.

As part of the Program, the MPO is helping to invest over $300 million dollars in communities across Broward to create safer streets for all users. This project is one of many within a larger plan to create enhanced bicycle, pedestrian, and public transportation access throughout the Broward region.

Construction will start on this project on June 5, 2018, and anticipated completion is Spring 2019. A construction open house will be held Wednesday, May 16 from 5-7 p.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, located at 425 N. 58th Avenue, Hollywood, FL 33021.
