The SR7 Multimodal Improvements Corridor Study has been completed. As part of the project, the MPO study team met with over a dozen neighborhood and business groups to gather input on issues affecting the corridor. The resulting findings identified both short and long term improvements to promote mobility and safety for all modes of travel along the SR7 corridor. Study recommendations include enhanced pedestrian amenities such as countdown pedestrian signals and high emphasis crosswalk markings, transit improvements, including additional shelters, bus stop relocations, and bus “queue jumps,” and lighting enhancements to improve visibility for all users of SR7.
