The Broward MPO acquired the mySidewalk software platform in October of 2017. The software allows the MPO the ability to more efficiently track, analyze, map and most importantly share the many data sets that it currently produces and the many other data sets that are available through the US Census, Department of Transportation and other sources. The software also allows the MPO to easily update and share federally required performance measures with the MPO boards, committees and public. The MPO also created municipal profiles for the 31 municipalities in Broward using mySidewalk.

MySidewalk’s platform features over 2,300 datasets and attributes assigned or pre-apportioned across 16 full census, postal, and political, layers of geography. mySidewalk also provides hundreds of data templates, time series projections, and the ability to integrate user specific data-sets which makes it a unique and powerful analysis engine for region scale decision making and communication. mySidewalk allows these data points and analyses to be packaged as community indicators, maps, and reports that can be simply and dynamically shared with colleagues or the public.
