The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), as part of the 95 Express Project in Broward County, has started to install ramp signals at some of the on ramps to I-95. The Ramp Signal System is part of an overall congestion-relief plan, which, along with 95 Express, is helping I-95 become a safer, more efficient road to travel in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Activation dates are still to be determined. These briefings will provide an overview of the Ramp Signal System, how it works and the benefits the system provide.
